For teams (athletes) traveling to NZ to compete in the World Triathlon Cup please go to https://www.immigration.govt.nz/visit/what-you-need-to-visit-new-zealand/ for details on whether your athletes need to apply for a visa to enter New Zealand.
If you require a visa and plan to stay in New Zealand for less than 3 months, you should be able to apply for a “Sports Events Visitor Visa”. Please be aware that it may take over 3 weeks to process this visa application so you should apply at least 1 month before the event.
